This wall of hats

I am grateful to many people and for many things with this wall. When my hair thinned enough that we decided to shave it, I was cold ๐Ÿ™‚ (The joke is that I’m always cold these days ๐Ÿ™‚

A friend who had been through breast cancer brought her hats over for us to pick out some for me to borrow. Then another friend bought two more plus scarves to wear under them. Then I went to Cure Diva for a few choices. And then Don gave me two Volvo toboggans for the winter. And Mom brought me a toboggan with a pom pom. And then my dear sweet hero of a husband put them up on the wall for me. A wall of awesome love and warmth and style. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also note the funky clock my sister brought to me when she visited Halloween weekend. Much love going on in this house, I am so grateful.

Note this verse from Jesus, Lover of My Soul. Although Nate pointed out my head is even more protected since I’m wearing hats all the time ๐Ÿ™‚ But it is also nice to be in the shadow of His wing!

Other refuge have I none;
hangs my helpless soul on thee;
leave, ah! leave me not alone,
still support and comfort me.
All my trust on thee is stayed,
all my help from thee I bring;
cover my defenseless head
with the shadow of thy wing.
